Mickey will be joined by one of Disney's first cartoon stars, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit (that character that looks identical to Mickey, except for the long, straight ears), and together they'll travel through a bizarro Disney theme park world called the Wasteland. In Epic Mickey 2, co-op play and musical numbers have been added to the magical-paint-brush mix. The developer did provide plenty of details on the game itself, though. We know nothing about the PC version of Epic Mickey 2 at this point as Junction Point would only confirm that, yes, it is in development. And before you burst my bubble with cries of "console port!" let's all just take a moment to welcome Warren Spector back.ĭisney Interactive rolled out Epic Mickey 2 at a preview event in London this morning, and while the official announcement was for Wii, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and 3DS, developer Junction Point later added that, oh yeah, there are also PC and Mac versions in the works. Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two has been confirmed for PC and Mac. The man behind some of PC gaming's all-time classics, including Deus Ex, Thief, and System Shock will make his return to our platform of choice this fall, and he's bringing the Mouse with him.
